Deadeye Drifters is a subsidiary of Deadeye Welding, Inc., a local welding and fabrication shop located in Marriott-Slaterville, Utah.
Deadeye (John Schwinn)
A local entrepreneur and has been welding since he was 10 years old. Deadeye Welding was established in 1998 by John as a welding and fabrication business. The companies first contract was with Wells Cargo Trailers for various trailer components. They later began to specialize in one off Research and Development prototyping and preproduction projects for customers such as Autoliv, Lockheed Martin, Hill AFB, Utah Valley University and various machine shops in the local area.
Jon Goyette (Brake Time’s Jon)
Another local business owner who has been a mechanic and welder/fabricator/machinist/robotic animator for nearly 40 years. Jon has designed and built several sand cars and owned and built the worlds fastest Chevy Suburban Drag Truck. Presently owns, built and plans to race a 2002 Chevy S10 ProMod. He has several inventions that are in the prototype stage and lends his expertise to Deadeye Drifters in the engineering and fabrication of the motorized drift trikes.
